Marco Salerno grew up making artisanal wine, soppressata, and tomato sauce with his Italian-American family in New Jersey. Marco’s love for his family’s heritage led him to explore the land of his grandparents.
Marco traveled throughout Calabria, searching for vineyards written about in history books, and ultimately found a few passionate farmers who continue to organically grow local grape varieties for traditional wine production. Over the years, Marco returned to make wine with these farmers turned friends. Marco now teams up with these farmers to share craft wines that represent their shared culture.
